Arthur Avenue Information

Tucked along 210 Marble Ave in Pleasantville, Arthur Avenue feels like one of those places you stumble into once and immediately add to your regular rotation. The location itself is easy to miss if you’re just passing through, but locals clearly know what’s up-the steady stream of diners during lunch and early dinner hours says plenty about its reputation. From the moment you step inside, there’s a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere that leans more neighborhood favorite than polished fine dining, and that’s exactly part of its charm.

The menu leans heavily into Italian-American comfort food, with familiar staples done right rather than reinvented. You’ll find everything from hearty pasta dishes to classic chicken parm, and portions are generous without feeling over the top. On one visit, the penne alla vodka stood out with its balanced sauce-creamy without being too heavy, with just enough bite to keep it interesting. The pizza, too, deserves a mention: thin crust, crisp edges, and that slightly chewy center that makes each slice satisfying without feeling greasy. It’s the kind of place where you can confidently order something simple and still walk away impressed.

Service here matches the tone of the space-friendly, attentive, and refreshingly unpretentious. Staff members seem genuinely familiar with the menu and quick to offer suggestions if you’re undecided. During a busy dinner rush, there might be a short wait, but the turnover is steady, and the team handles the pace without making guests feel rushed. That balance is harder to achieve than it looks, and it adds to the overall comfort of dining here.

What really makes Arthur Avenue stand out among nearby restaurants is how it blends consistency with a sense of community. Online reviews often highlight the same points: reliable food quality, approachable pricing, and a warm, neighborhood vibe. It doesn’t try to be trendy or overly curated, which in today’s dining scene actually feels refreshing. Instead, it focuses on delivering a solid experience every time, whether you’re stopping by for a casual weeknight meal or meeting friends for a laid-back dinner.

While the menu doesn’t push boundaries or introduce experimental flavors, that’s not necessarily a drawback. If anything, it reinforces the restaurant’s identity as a dependable go-to spot. For anyone exploring Pleasantville’s dining options or just looking for a comfortable place with good food and easygoing energy, this spot quietly earns its place among the area’s most appreciated eateries.

What People's Say About Place

A cozy little spot with a warm vibe and a wood-fired oven that makes the place smell amazing. tried the buffalo chicken pizza—it was delicious. Honestly had to stop myself from finishing the whole thing in one sitting before I get more fat.

Personal pizzas in a wood fired oven. Flavor got better as you ate it. Crust was just right. Place was rather small but the food more than made up for it.

The Bee Sting pizza was superb. It's the closest pizza I've had outside of Rome (the rest of Italy included) that tasted like a Roman-style pizza, super thin, with minimal fire-crisped crust. Juicy. Good sauce. The cooks were polite and personal, but give you space. The pizzeria is cozy and clean. Great Italian-American ambience with Sinatra playing in the background. I look forward to returning.

If you are looking for authentic wood fire pizza, Arthur Ave is the spot! I had the pleasure of having lunch here with my CertaPro Painters team and it was one of best pizza’s I had lately. Out of the 4 pies we ordered, my favorite had to be the eggplant. Crust was baked perfectly and just the right amount of eggplant. The owners were very welcoming. Top notch service, pizza and atmosphere, you can’t go wrong. Don’t walk, run to if you are looking for delicious pizza.

I love Pizza. I love New York pizza.. I LOVE THIS NEW YORK PIZZA. It’s amazing :) go enjoy please and thanks. Highly recommend the Margherita and this one on the photo was their day special: sun dried tomatoes, pesto, basil. Incredible.

Another box to check on the CertaPro Painters of Westchester NY Pizza Challenge! This is not your average pizza spot, so don’t come in here expecting a reheated slice that’s been sitting there all day. Instead, fresh personal sized pizzas are made quickly to order! They have a variety of specialty pies as well as daily specials. My favorite so far is the Bee Sting, although I’ll be back soon enough to try them all!

Been getting takeout from here for years and it's fantastic everytime. I always get the sausage and broccoli rabe pizza and it's probably my favorite pizza I've ever had. The crust is amazing, the sausage is delicious and plentiful and I love the broccoli rabe, tender and big chunks of garlic. Both pictures are from my car because I usually eat half (or all) of the pizza before I leave the parking lot and then get a chicken parm wedge to take home to eat later.

I am addicted to their pizza. It’s a cute place with extremely friendly staff. I have had their pizza, meatballs & meatball spring rolls… Their food is outstanding, I can’t wait to try more. If you are looking for an Italian place for a quick bite within 10 minutes of Pleasantville this should be the only place you’re going. Cannot recommend enough
